Starting Rates and Conditions for Senior Home Care Services

In-Home Care Options

Companion Care

4-hour minimum per visit: $36.00/hour

Personal Care

4-hour minimum per visit: $38.00/hour

Couples Care

4-hour minimum per visit: $40.00/hour

24-hour Care

Rates are based on the level of care, 24-hour discounts can apply

Accompaniment Only & PRN

$40.00/hr and subject to Trip Fees (see terms below)

Other Care Options

Bath /Wellness Visits (1-2hrs max)

$90.00 per visit

Procedure Accompaniment

$45.00 per hour

Post-Procedure Care

$45.00 per hour

Live-In Care 

$550.00 per day and up based on level of care

TERMS & CONDITIONS

General:

  • Friends for Life is a fee-for-service private pay company.
  • All starting rates are subject to change with notice.
  • Deposits required for monthly billing or check payment: equal to two (2) weeks of services. Also waived for bi-weekly autopay via CC/ACH.
  • All scheduled visits are subject to a four-hour minimum per visit and are based on the availability of caregivers.
  • Cancellations require a 24-hour notice to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% of the billing fees for the scheduled visit or a minimum of two hours.

Supplies, Meals and Trips

  • Additional care supplies are billed at cost + 10% – only if FFL provides required supplies.
  • Trip Fees apply to companion and personal care if a caregiver drives more than 10 miles during a shift with a client for appointments or errands. The Caregiver receives the total amount of the trip fee to balance their cost of fuel and vehicle wear and tear.
  • Activity or meal expenses during shifts are paid by the client or can be paid by the Caregiver but will be billed back to the client for reimbursement (and we will fully reimburse the Caregiver).

One-Time Accompaniment & Post-Procedure Care:

  • Visits require a Visa or Mastercard for reservations and a deposit equal to two (2) hours of service to schedule the visit.
  • Services provided outside the Denver Metro area are subject to higher out-of-area rates.

Holiday Rates:

  • Holiday rates are two times the hourly rate and apply for the following recognized Holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (5 p.m. – Midnight), Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve (5 p.m. – Midnight).
